Muhajir Sooba : ウィキペディア英語版 | Muhajir Sooba
The Muhajir Sooba ((ウルドゥー語:مہاجر صوبہ), literally meaning 'Immigrants Province') is a political movement which seeks to represent the Muhajir people of Sindh. This concept floated as a political bargaining tool by the leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Altaf Hussain for the creation of a Muhajir province for the Muhajir-majority areas of Sindh, which would be independent from Sindh government. The political deprivations of MQM became the major causes leading towards the demand of a separate province. Various other names have been suggested by Altaf Hussain to refer to proposed new province such as Sindh 1 and Sindh 2. Pakistan Peoples Party, the dominating political force of Sindh as well Imran Khan, leader of PTI, an other major political party of Pakistan, always opposed and condemned the creation of any such province although it is becoming more acceptable to talk about "north sindh and south sindh regions similar to North Panjab, Central panjab and south Panjab regions". ==See also==
